Yorkshire vs Lancashire Preview & Prediction

With 155 runs in 6 innings, Alviro Petersen has scored the most runs for Lancashire this year. He will be coming with a fifty in the last match and is expected to top-score again for his side. Martin Guptill, since making 72 in his first match, hasn't looked his best. So this could put pressure on Brown and Livingstone if Guptill doesn't bat well.

Nathan Buck and Jordan Clark will probably start off with the new ball for Lancashire. The two seamers have been bowling well lately and they will look to strike early. George Edwards, with 11 scalps, is the tournament's fifth highest wicket-taker and Yorkshire will be wary of him. Stephen Parry took a five-for in the last match and he is another bowler to watch out for.

This will be a home game for Yorkshire Vikings and so they should be more familiar with the ground conditions. They, however, suffered a defeat to Lancashire Lightning here last year. Overall, the two teams have played against each other in four completed games with Lancashire leading 3-1. Lancashire's most recent victory over Yorkshire came earlier this month at Manchester and the latter will be going into this match with vengeance in mind.
