West Indies take on Bangladesh in the second ODI of the series on Wednesday morning. Sunday’s first ODI saw the visitors pick up their first victory of the tour after losing both the Test and IT20 series. Bangladesh chased down a target of 150 with 6 wickets and 55 balls remaining. West Indies had been utterly dominant over Bangladesh over recent weeks until Sunday’s game where they came unstuck. The hosts have real struggles against strong opposition in this format but have the talent to bounce back.

He was perhaps one of the only positives for the home side with no one else putting in a strong performance. There will be calls for changes but we predict the hosts will retain the same XI.
The hosts have lost four successive ODIs with their last win in this format coming against the Netherlands in early June.

After 22 IT20 appearances, slow left-arm orthodox spinner Nasum Ahmed appeared in an ODI for the first time on Sunday. Although he did not take a wicket, he will certainly retain his place after conceding only 16 runs from eight overs including three maidens. We expect no changes for The Tigers in this game.
Sunday’s victory means that The Tigers have come out on top in three of their last four ODIs. They have also won six of their last seven away ODIs.
