Toss Prediction
The pitch at the Providence tends to get slower as the match progresses and offers more assistance to the bowlers later on. And also since 11 out of the 19 one-day internationals played at this ground have been won by the side batting first, the toss-winning skipper will probably elect to bat first.

West Indies Team News & Playing 11
WI Team News
Allrounder Andre Russell has returned to the West Indies ODI squad after having last played for his country in this format in November 2015. The team has also picked Alzarri Joseph and Kieran Powell in their 13-man squad while leaving out Marlon Samuels, Carlos Brathwaite and Kesrick Williams, all of whom had been a part of the side for the ICC World Cup Qualifiers. The hosts have rested their frontline fast bowler Kemar Roach for this series.
WI Key Players
In Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis, the hosts have one of the world's most devastating opening pairs in limited-overs cricket. Both have a strike-rate of around 85 in this format and Bangladesh will find themselves in a lot of trouble if these two get going. Shimron Hetmyer had an impressive outing with a knock of 86 in the second test while hard-hitter Andre Russell will be raring to make a strong return to one-day internationals.
Jason Holder topped the wickets charts in the test series with 16 wickets and the skipper will be the biggest threat to Bangladesh in this series as well. Alzarri Joseph has 23 wickets in 13 ODIs and he could do the early damage with the new ball. Ashley Nurse will look to make an impact with his off-spin in the middle overs.
WI Recent Form
West Indies last played a one-day international more than three months ago at the ICC World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe. They beat every other team they faced in that tournament, except Afghanistan who got the better of them twice including the final. Prior to that tournament, the Windies were whitewashed 0-4 by England and 0-3 by New Zealand.
West Indies Predicted Playing 11
Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope (wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Mohammed, Rovman Powell, Jason Holder (c), Andre Russell, Devendra Bishoo, Alzarri Joseph, Ashley Nurse
Bangladesh Team News & Playing 11
BAN Team News
Mashrafe Mortaza was earlier a doubtful starter for this series but he has now been confirmed to lead the team against the Windies. Bangladesh have recalled Mosaddek Hossain and Liton Das into the squad apart from including four fresh faces - Abu Jayed, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Abu Hider and Nazmul Islam. The visitors have dropped batsmen - Mohammad Mithun, Imrul Kayes and Nasir Hossain - spinner Sunzamul Islam - and two allrounders - Mohammad Saifuddin and Abul Hasan.
BAN Key Players
Tamim Iqbal is the leading run-getter for Bangladesh in one-day internationals and the onus will be on him to take the team off to a blazing start. Mushfiqur Rahim with 5 centuries and 28 fifties is another key batsmen for the visitors at the top. Shakib Al Hasan is the team's second-best batsmen in this format and he also scored the most runs for them in the test series in addition to picking up eight wickets.
While Shakib's allround contribution is going to be vital, Bangladesh will also be counting on their skipper Mashrafe Mortaza to come good with the ball. The seamer has taken the most ODI wickets for the side and he will be their biggest hope with the new ball. With ten wickets in two matches, Mehidy Hasan was outstanding in the tests and it will be crucial that he brings that form with him.
BAN Recent Form
Bangladesh's last ODI assignment came in January in the tri-series at home also involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. They defeated Zimbabwe in both the encounters, won and lost a game each against Sri Lanka before losing the final against the same opposition by 79 runs. Before the tri-series, Bangladesh suffered a 0-3 thrashing in South Africa in a bilateral series against the hosts.
Bangladesh Predicted Playing 11
Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das, Sabbir Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, Mehidy Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza (c), Abu Hider Rony, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman
