Mumbai Indians will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the 51st match of the IPL 2024. The game will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and will start at 7:30 PM IST on May 3.

We suggest backing KKR to win. MI’s bowling looks weak. Barring Bumrah and a bit of Coetzee, the balance of the bowling attack looks off. Given the kind of batters KKR have, MI might not be able to contain them to a low score.
Rohit Sharma, Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav will be batters to watch out for MI. Rohit's only hundred this season came at Wankhede and he could replicate the feat on a belter of a surface while Tilak Varma has been the most consistent MI batter, scoring three fifties. Surya, we all know is a match winner on his day.
Sunil Narine and Phil Salt have been magnificent for KKR this season, with both scoring over 350 runs for the team. Andre Russell also has been at his destrictive best whenever he has got an opportunity to bat in the tournament.
Jasprit Bumrah and Gerald Coetzee have been in great wicket taking form and MI would need them at the peak of prowess against KKR. Also, Nuwan Tushara could be a tough bowler to face due to his slingy action and a lot of KKR batters haven't faced him before so he could also pose a challenge.
KKR's bowling will rest on Sunil Narine, who has taken 11 wickets at an economy of less than 7. Also, Harshit Rana has been mighty impressive in his execution, taking 11 wickets as well. Andre Russell can also turn out to be a wicket-taker as batters will be going after him.
We are backing KKR to win. The team has been ruthless and played aggressive cricket, especially on flat tracks. MI are down on confidence and most players are out of form. KKR seems a better bet to us as winners of this match.
