West Indies vs South Africa Match Prediction, U19 World Cup 2020
After both missed out on a place in the semi-finals, West Indies and hosts South Africa go head-to-head as they bid to claim the highest possible finish at the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Their Super League play-off semi-final match takes place at the JB Marks Oval, Potchefstroom, on February 1 and the live action starts at 10:00 local time.
West Indies had emerged as dark horses for the tournament after dominant wins against Australia and England in the group stage, only to lose to New Zealand last time out after being bowled out for 238, despite Kirk McKenzie battling injury to post 99.
South Africa, meanwhile, had bounced back from defeat to Afghanistan to reach the quarter-finals, but then lost heavily to Bangladesh despite another half-century for Luke Beaufort. The best both teams can now hope for is a fifth-place finish.

West Indies U19 Team News & Playing 11
WI U19 Team News
After his brave innings last time out, Kirk McKenzie is likely to miss the game due to the injury he suffered mid-way through batting against New Zealand. Ramon Simmonds bowled against Nigeria – the only change for that game – so he could be the man to replace him, with Matthew Patrick and Nyeem Young moving up the batting order.
WI U19 Key Players
Kevlon Anderson: Scored 86* in the win against England and now has 161 runs in four innings in total. The 19-year-old Guyanan also hit an unbeaten century in the warm-up win against Scotland.
Ashmead Nedd: Already earned a place in the West Indies Emerging Team last year, the 19-year-old spinner has taken eight wickets in the last three matches.
Nyeem Young: Started the tournament in fine form, with 1-20 and 61 against Australia and 66 and 5-45 against England. If he can get back to that form, West Indies can get back to winning ways.
WI U19 Team Form
West Indies beat Australia, England and Nigeria to top Group B, with Nyeem Young emerging as one of the early stars of the tournament, but they could not make it count as they lost to New Zealand in the quarter-finals.
Kirk McKenzie defied injury to score 99 from 104 balls in a total of 238 all out, and Ashmead Nedd claimed 3-33 in reply, but West Indies slipped to a two-wicket defeat with two balls to spare.

Gerald Coetzee returned to the team last time out, while Khany Cotani continued to open the batting in place of Andrew Louw. Merrick Brett made way for Coetzee, but there could be further changes for this game as South Africa look to get back to winning ways.
SA U19 Key Players
Bryce Parsons: Missed out another big score last time out, but the South Africa captain hit 40, 121 and 84 in his three innings in the group stage and took two wickets too.
Luke Beaufort: Back-to-back half-centuries, scoring 60 against New Zealand after his 85 against the UAE, have taken him beyond 200 runs for the tournament too.
Gerald Coetzee: Much is expected of the teenage quick if he can stay fit, and he will be keen to make his mark on the final few games of this tournament.
SA U19 Team Form
South Africa bounced back from defeat to Afghanistan by seeing off Canada and the UAE to finish second in their group. It set up a quarter-final with Bangladesh, but the hosts fluffed their chance of progressing. Replying to 261/5, Luke Beaufort hit 60 from 91 balls but the innings never got going and they were bowled out for 157.
