Toss Prediction
The Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium has hosted five test matches out of which only the most recently played two have produced results and both of those have been won by the side batting first. Also, the wicket at this ground is expected to be the best for batting early on as average scores tend to drop with every innings. So the team that wins the toss here will probably elect to bat first.

West Indies Team News & Playing 11
Team News
West Indies do not have any injury worries at the moment and they will have the entire squad to choose from for this game. The team is likely to retain the same set of players that crushed Sri Lanka at the Port of Spain. This means that Shimron Hetmyer and uncapped batsman Jahmar Hamilton will have to wait a little longer before they are given a game.
Key Players
West Indies will look to the likes of Kraigg Brathwaite, Kieran Powell, Shai Hope and Shane Dowrich to play the big knocks in this match. Dowrich was outstanding with his unbeaten 125 in the first innings while Powell struck 88 in the second. Brathwaite could not contribute much in the last game but he has scored two fifties in two tests at this ground. The Windies will bank on Miguel Cummins to provide the early breakthroughs. The fast bowler has taken the most test wickets for the hosts at this ground. Spinners Devendra Bishoo and Roston Chase claimed four wickets apiece last time and they too will be the big threats for Sri Lanka.
Recent Form
West Indies now have two wins in their last five test matches. After facing back-to-back heavy defeats in New Zealand last year, the Windies would have been delighted to secure a mammoth win at home against Sri Lanka. They were impressive with the bat, especially in the first innings, and were spot on with the ball as well.
West Indies Predicted Playing 11
Kraigg Brathwaite, Devon Smith, Kieran Powell, Shai Hope, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich (wk), Jason Holder (c), Devendra Bishoo, Kemar Roach, Miguel Cummins, Shannon Gabriel
Sri Lanka Team News & Playing 11
Team News
Sri Lanka have received a major setback ahead of the second test as pace bowler Lahiru Gamage and key allrounder Angelo Mathews are set to return home and will not be playing this match. While Mathews cited personal reasons for his departure, Gamage who fractured his finger while batting in the first game will be returning for treatment. The selectors have named Danushka Gunathilaka and Dasun Shanaka as the respective replacements.
Key Players
Kusal Mendis was the only bright spot in Sri Lanka's batting at the Port of Spain. The opener hit a century in the second innings and the team will expect him to produce another high quality knock in this match. With Angelo Mathews out of the equation, the onus will now be on Dinesh Chandimal and Niroshan Dickwella to deliver the goods with the bat. Lahiru Kumara was the standout performer for Sri Lanka with the ball. The pace bowler notched up a match-haul of seven wickets and the Windies will now look to be cautious against him. Suranga Lakmal and Rangana Herath could take only three wickets last time and the team will back them to make a strong comeback.
Recent Form
Sri Lanka have not been doing too well in the game's longest version. They have managed just one win in their last six test matches which is a cause for concern. The visitors were humiliated in the last game and their batsmen struggled to cope against a hostile West Indian bowlingattack in both the innings.
Sri Lanka Predicted Playing 11
Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera, Dinesh Chandimal (c), Danushka Gunathilaka, Roshen Silva, Niroshan Dickwella (wk), Dilruwan Perera, Dasun Shanaka, Rangana Herath, Suranga Lakmal, Lahiru Kumara
