Sam Hain returns to the side and will open the innings once again with skipper Ian Bell. Varun Chopra was given a chance in his absence and he responded well with 97 off 58 balls. Whether Chopra will retain his place in the side is a question that's left unanswered. However, Warwickshire's batting performance is going to depend mainly on the openers, Porterfield and Ronchi in the middle order.
Oliver Hannon-Dalby has taken three wickets in the tournament and will probably open the bowling for Warwickshire. Chris Woakes took three wickets at an impressive economical rate and the team will be backing him to take the most wickets against Lancashire. Off-spinner Jeetan Patel, if played, could also be handy on this ground.

Guptill and Petersen could open the batting for Lancashire. The former is currently the top run-scorer for his side and he will need to score big as the latter is out of form. Brown and Buttler have a fifty each in this competition and the two will be the key batsmen in the middle-order. So Lancashire's batting will mostly revolve around these four.
Wagner and Clark will be starting the proceedings with the new ball. Clark has taken three wickets in his last two games and he will be expected to bowl well against Warwickshire. Fast bowler George Edwards, with nine wickets in this year's Natwest T20 Blast, is one of the tournament's leading wicket-takers. If he bowls well on Sunday, Warwickshire will be in a spot of bother.

While Birmingham Bears lifted the trophy in 2014, Lancashire Lightning went on to win the title last year in 2015. So this is going to be a battle of the former champions. The two teams have played each other at this ground twice before with Birmingham Bears winning in 2014 and Lancashire Lightning in 2015.
