WAR vs KTS T20 Match Prediction & Betting Tips, CSA T20 Challenge 2022

Warriors will take on Knights at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. Match 3 of the CSA T20 Challenge gets underway at 14:30 local time on Tuesday, October 18th.

Warriors

There were only two wins for Warriors in the last CSA T20 Challenge. They lost five games, picked up nine points and finished in sixth out of eight teams. Their leading run scorer from the last tournament, Tristan Stubbs, is in Australia representing South Africa.

WAR Batting

In spite of a poor campaign in terms of results and points, Warriors had two of the top four run scorers in the CSA T20 Challenge in February. Stubbs hit 293, but is now playing in the T20 World Cup, with Wihan Lubbe contributing 231 including a top score of 69 not out. 

WAR Bowling

Taking wickets proved to be a major challenge for Warriors in February’s competition. Mthiwekhaya Nabe was their top wicket taker picking up six wickets from only four appearances. We expect him to lead the attack alongside pace bowler Glenton Stuurman.

Warriors won only one of their last five games in the last tournament.

Knights 

It was a very disappointing campaign for Knights in February. They played seven, won two and lost five, and finished bottom of the table with only eight points and the worst net-run-rate of any side. The bowling of Migael Pretorius will be crucial to their success in this competition.

KTS Batting

Jacques Snyman hit 208 runs across the last tournament and was the seventh highest run scorer. He also hit the highest individual score of the competition - 90 runs from 52 balls, against the opposition in this game, Warriors. The team will also look to all-rounder Patrick Kruger for runs.

KTS Bowling

32 year old right arm medium fast bowler Alfred Mothoa took six wickets at an average of 30.66 earlier this year and he will be assisted by young pace bowler Gerald Koetzee who took four wickets from four games. Migael Pretorius arrives for this game after performing well in the Caribbean Premier League.

KTS Form

Knights won two of their last four games in the last CSA T20 Challenge but their start to the competition was poor.
