In-form Waratah take on Darwin CC in the semi-finals of the Darwin Top End T20 tournament, which has marked cricket’s resumption in Australia. The match, at the Marrara Cricket Ground, will take place on the Main Oval in front of the live-streaming cameras. It is scheduled to start at 10:00 local time on June 8.
Waratah were in top form in the group stage, including their dominant victory against the Invitational XI in their final match. James Seymour smashed 112* from 73 balls in a total of 202/1 as they geared up for the semi-finals with a 124-run win.
Darwin, on the other hand, lost their final group game but Jacob Dickman’s batting on the opening day had already booked their semi-final place. Nevertheless, Waratah have marked themselves as the team to beat now.
