UAE picked up a brilliant win over Afghanistan in the second T20I to level the series. After a demoralising defeat in the first game, UAE punched above their game and defeated Afghanistan by 11 runs.
A brilliant half-century by Muhammad Waseem and Aryan Lakra helped the team to a decent score of 166-7 before a splendid show by Muhammad Juwadullah and Ali Naseer helped the team restrict Afghans to 155, thus winning the game by 11 runs.
