The Titans will be captained by Henry Davids in this edition of the CSA T20 Challenge. The home team are expected to open their batting with Aiden Markram and Dean Elgar. Farhaan Behardien, Tony de Zorzi and Theunis de Bruyn will make up the middle-order batting while Junior Dala, Tshepo Moreki, Corbin Bosch and Tabraiz Shamsi will form the team's bowling attack.

The Titans have a formidable batting line-up with the likes of Aiden Markram, Dean Elgar and Tony de Zorzi at the top of the order. Markram was one of the team's most consistent performers with the bat last season with 236 runs and he had even smashed three half-centuries. Farhaan Behardien was also amongst the runs and he will again be a key component in the middle order. Junior Dala, Tshepo Moreki and Tabraiz Shamsi form a potent bowling attack. Shamsi topped the wickets charts last time and the left-arm chinaman will be expected to start the season off with a good performance. Dala took nine wickets in 2017 and he will be a big threat to the Warriors with the new ball.

The Titans finished at the top of the points table in the previous season with six wins and two losses from their ten league encounters. They handed an eight-wicket thrashing to the Warriors in the semi-final and then went on to win the title for the sixth time by securing a comfortable seven-wicket victory over the Dolphins in the final.

JJ Smuts will be leading the Warriors in this year's CSA T20 Challenge and he could open the batting alongside Matthew Breetzke. Colin Ackermann and Christiaan Jonker are likely to bat at numbers three and four respectively. Gihahn Cloete will be doing the glove work behind the stumps. Andrew Birch, Lutho Sipamla, Sisanda Magala and Basheeru-Deen Walters will form the pace quartet for the Warriors.

JJ Smuts, Christiaan Jonker and Colin Ackermann are the big guns for the Warriors in terms of batting. Jonker scored the most the runs (290) for the team in the last season while Ackermann finished as their second-best batsman with 263 runs. Both cracked a couple of fifties each, and once again, it will be up to these two to take the team off to a good start. With the ball, the Warriors will rely heavily on their pacers Andrew Birch, Lutho Sipamla and Sisanda Magala. Birch had a pretty good tournament last time picking up ten wickets in as many matches and the team will want him to be at his best against the Titans. Sipamla has four wickets in five T20Is and it will be crucial that he provides good support from the other end.

The Warriors won four and lost five matches out of the ten they had played in the 2017 edition and barely managed to make it past the league round as they finished fourth on the points table.
