Sylhet Sixers unsuccessfully rang the changes last time out as they look to end their losing streak. Mehedi Hasan Rana conceded 57 with the ball in the defeat to Rangpur Riders and paid with his place, replaced by Nasir Hossain, while David Warner will play no further part in the tournament due to injury. Mohammad Nawaz played last time out and scored a half-century, while Jason Roy has been called up as Warner’s replacement. Sandeep Lamichhane was replaced by Sohail Tanvir, who captained the team last time out. The Riders hit back, however, but not before Sylhet also lost to Dhaka Dynamites – David Warner’s 63 from 43 balls in vain as the Dynamites chased 159 to win by six wickets with tree overs remaining. Against Rangpur, Sabbir Rahman hit 85 and Nicolas Pooran 47* but the Sixers failed to defend 194/4 as they lost in the final over despite Taskin Ahmed’s four-fer.

Last time out, meanwhile, Khulna Titans hit 170/9 and the Sixers never got going in reply despite Mohammad Nawaz’s half-century – they finished on 149/7.
