Toss Prediction

Saltsjobaden may prefer bowling first after batting first and losing last time out.

Weather Report

Good but slightly cloudy conditions should improve as the afternoon goes on.

Pitch Condition

The artificial wicket ahs generally been a good one so far. Batsman have scored well enough on it without having it all their own way.

Stockholm Tigers Team News & Playing 11

STT Team News

Stockholm Tigers were without regular captain Raz Ashik Imtiaz on day one. There may be further changes from the team that opened the tournament, depending how they get on against Alby Zalmi in their first match of day two.

STT Key Players

  • Faruk Ahmed: Hit 44* from 29 balls in the first match, captaining the team and batting at the top of the order.
  • Sayem Chowdhury: One of the better bowlers against Nacka CC, he picked up a wicket and completed a run-out in that game.
  • Roni Gupta: Perhaps deserving of being more prominent with the ball moving forward, having proved he can be economical.

STT Team Form

After conceding 166/3 to Nacka CC in their opening game, Stockholm Tigers managed just 88/3 in reply, with Faruk Ahmed scoring 44*.

Their first game of day two was against Alby Zalmi Under-23s.

SCC Team News

Shahid Ali and Imran Ullah may be more prominent with the bat, though it was the bowling that needed the biggest tweaking after the last match.

SCC Key Players

  • Aftab Ahmad: When Saltsjobaden CC won the T20 Division 1 title last season, it owed much to their all-rounders – first among whom was Ahmad.
  • Arslan Ali: Took a wicket last time out and will hope to be more prominent with the ball too going forward.
  • Khurshed Alam: Hit seven fours and two sixes as he posted a very good 53* from 30 balls last time out. He scored much faster than his team-mates.

Final Verdict

Back Saltsjobaden CC to beat Stockholm Tigers

STT vs SSC Dream11 Prediction

  • Wicket-keeper(s):

    With Faheem Shah not even listed as a wicket-keeper, the safer pick would be Humayun Kabir – particularly as he also opens the batting.
  • Batsmen:

    Shahid Ali and Imran Ullah were less prominent with the bat last time out but could both be moved up the order – or do more with the bat at least – this time around. Both are key influential figures. Roni Gupta impressed more with the ball in the first game but at eight credits he could be worth selecting.
  • All-rounder(s):

    Aftab Ahmad and Arslan Ali have a reputation for their all-round skulls in T20 cricket and the two now need to prove it in T10. Ahmad opens the batting, while Ali took a wicket last time out. Their more impressive performer, however, was Khurshed Alam with his unbeaten half-century. He is the top pick, while Faruk Ahmed’s top-order batting showed what he can do too.
  • Bowlers:

    That leaves enough room for Sayem Chowdhury but you may want to pick Akash Islam anyway, given he also bats up the order. With those two in, Shah Zeb could round the team off and ensure the balance leans towards Saltsjobaden.
  • Captain/vice-captain:

    Faruk Ahmed’s runs last time out, or Khurshed Alam’s likewise, showed the ability of both. Alam might be a good captain but sticking with the all-rounders remains favourable and Arslan Ali could assume at least the vice-captain mantle.
