The surface at the Diamond Oval has proved tough to bat on so far in the tournament. There will be turn and uneven bounce again on Wednesday.

After posting 204 when batting first in Kimberley on Sunday, Sri Lanka U-19s were able to dismiss Zimbabwe U-19s for only 89 and in a rain reduced innings and won by 39 runs (DLS). We expect Namibia U-19s to provide a tougher opposition in this match.
Sri Lanka U-19s will be looking for more runs from their top three in this game after the combination of Pulindu Perera, Vishen Halambage and Sineth Jayawardena contributed a combination of only 10 runs. Dinura Kalupahana and Sharujan Shanmuganathan made over 100 runs between them at a strike-rate of over 100.
Malsha Tharupathi was the fifth bowler used by Sri Lanka U-19s against Zimbabwe U-19s but the leg-spinner could well come into the attack earlier in this game after he took 4/17. Halambage leaked 23 runs from only two overs in Match 6 so he will need to be far tighter with his line and length in this clash.
The middle order for Sri Lanka U-19s rescued the batting in their opener before a strong bowling performance.
Pulindu Perera, Vishen Halambage, Sineth Jayawardena (c), Ravishan de Silva, Rusanda Gamage, Dinura Kalupahana, Sharujan Shanmuganathan (wk), Malsha Tharupathi, Vishwa Lahiru, Puvishan Perera, Garuka Sanketh
Although they ended up losing by 4 wickets with 181 balls remaining, Namibia U-19s did at one stage look like they were going to somehow recover from being bowled out for 91 to beat Australia U-19s. They got their opponents to 46/4 and 57/5 and we can expect their bowling attack to be threatening again in this fixture.
There were just three batters for Namibia U-19s who managed to get into double figures against Australia U-19s as the whole batting line-up struggled to deal with the pace and bounce of Callum Vidler. Captain Alexander Busing-Volschenk and Zacheo van Vuuren will be key in this game.
The top bowler for Namibia U-19s in Match 9 was 18 year old right-arm medium pacer Jack Brassell who bowled two maiden overs and took 3/28 against Australia U-19s. We can expect him to share the new ball with Hanro Badenhorst in this fixture.
Namibia U-19’s were poor with the bat but looked strong with the ball in their defeat to Australia U-19s.
Gerhard Janse van Rensburg, Johannes de Villiers, Johannes Visagie (wk), Zacheo van Vuuren, Alexander Busing-Volschenk (c), Ryan Moffett, Jack Brassell, Henry van Wyk, Peter-Daniel Blignaut, Hanro Badenhorst, Junior Kariata
Namibia U-19s will need to be able to make at least 170 with the bat in this game to give their talented bowling unit an opportunity and the evidence in the last game was that they will struggle when batting. We expect to see Sri Lanka U-19s coming out on top in this clash.
