Spain vs Germany 1st T20 Match Prediction
Germany head to Spain for a two-game T20i series – their first matches since missing out on a place at the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier on net run rate. The matches take place on March 8 at the Desert Springs Cricket Ground, Almeria, and the live action starts at 10:30 local time.
Germany won four of their five matches in the European regional finals of the T20 World Cup qualifiers, but defeat to Italy proved costly as Jersey pipped them to top spot to reach the main qualifier. Nevertheless, they have won seven of their ten previous T20 internationals and will hope to extend that record by beating Spain.
Spain did not reach the regional finals, but they did get back to winning ways in T20i cricket last time out, when they won all four matches at the Iberia Cup. Key players from that triumph, Yasir Ali and Faran Afzal, remain with the squad for this mini-series.
