Sri Lanka Women vs Bangladesh Women Match Prediction, ICC WT20 World Cup
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh sign off their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 campaign against each other in Group A, with the two winless teams knowing victory in this match will seal an automatic place at the next tournament. The match takes place at the Junction Oval in St Kilda, Melbourne, on March 2 and the live action gets underway at 11:00 local time.
Sri Lanka’s three defeats have come despite Chamari Atapattu showing good batting form and top-scoring in all three matches so far. Most recently, she hit 33 against India but the total of 113/9 was well below target – Sri Lanka losing by seven wickets inside 15 overs.
Bangladesh, meanwhile, looked on the brink of a shock win in their most recent game when they bowled New Zealand out for just 91. In reply, however, they were bowled out for 74 in 19.5 overs and so remain outsiders for this game too.

BANW Team News
Bangladesh made the full four changes last time out and it nearly paid off as they bowled New Zealand out for just 91. There are no issues with their bowling attack, and Ritu Moni will certainly retain her place after her four wickets. The main issue will be Nigar Sultana’s fitness, after she was forced to temporarily retire hurt while batting. The fact she resumed her innings could be a good sign, however.
BANW Key Players
Ritu Moni: Took 4-18 last time out to prove her worth with the ball, while she batted at number three and could offer something up the order too.
Nigar Sultana: Bravely returned to bat after being initially forced to retire hurt last time out, she top-scored with 21 in the middle order.
Salma Khatun: The captain’s excellent 3-7 from 2.2 overs last time out took her to six wickets for the tournament so far and 20 in her T20 World Cup career.
BANW Team Form
Bangladesh missed a big opportunity to stun New Zealand last time out, after Ritu Moni (4-18), Salma Khatun (3-7) and Rumana Ahmed (2-17) bowled them out for 91. In reply, however, they were bowled out for 74 in 19.5 overs. It followed defeats to India and Australia which leaves them winless in the tournament so far.
