South Africa are favorites to win
South Africa and Bangladesh begin their two match Test series in Durban on Thursday morning. The visitors have already played three games in the country and were victorious in the ODI series, winning the final ODI by 9 wickets in Centurion. Read on as we preview the First Test of the series. This Test begins at 10:00 local time at the Kingsmead Cricket Ground.
South Africa had a rollercoaster of a Test tour of New Zealand in February, thrashed in the opening Test then a comprehensive victory. They are a strong side at home and will be confident ahead of this clash.

In spite of many of their players unavailable, South Africa are heavy favourites for this opening Test.
After impressing against India at home earlier in the year, Keegan Petersen will be keen to make an impact for South Africa after missing the New Zealand series.
