Rajasthan Royals have been making a flurry of changes in their line-up lately. They have not played an out-of-touch Ben Stokes in their previous two games and also axed a struggling Steven Smith last time against Kings XI Punjab while bringing in Ashton Turner as his replacement. Turner's irresponsible shot that sent him back to the pavilion with a first-ball duck might jeopardize his place in the side. It will be interesting to see whether the Royals stick with the same eleven or bring back one of Smith and Stokes or both. Stuart Binny impressed with his late-order hitting at Mohali and he is likely to be handed another opportunity. Rahul Tripathi smashed a fifty after being promoted at the top of the order and he will probably open again alongside Jos Buttler with skipper Ajinkya Rahane pushing himself down to number four.

Jos Buttler, Rahul Tripathi and Sanju Samson are the big guns for Rajasthan Royals at the top of their batting order. Buttler has been their most consistent performer with the bat, scoring 311 runs which includes three half-centuries at a strike-rate of over 150. The opener had even smashed 89 runs off 43 balls in the reverse encounter against the Mumbai Indians. Tripathi opened the innings last time and cracked a fifty and he will be expected to take the team off to a flying start once again. Stuart Binny struck three sixes in his quick-fire knock of 33 and the Royals will want him to display his power-hitting on Saturday as well. Jofra Archer and Shreyas Gopal have been the standout bowlers for the home team this IPL with 10 and 8 wickets respectively. Archer returned outstanding figures of 3-15 last time out. The fast bowler had also snared three wickets in the earlier encounter against Mumbai and he is likely to finish with the best figures for the Royals again.

Rajasthan Royals currently find themselves in a very uncomfortable position mid-way in the tournament. They are lying at the seventh place on the IPL 2019 points table with six losses and just two wins from eight league matches. After managing to revive their campaign somewhat with a four-wicket win over Mumbai Indians in the reverse fixture, the Royals suffered yet another defeat as they went down to Kings XI Punjab by 12 runs in their last match. The hosts have now lost three of their last four matches.
