Once again it will be up to Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu to power the Mumbai Indians to a total in excess of 170. The skipper with 388 runs is the highest run-scorer for them and Rayudu has also been consistent with the bat. So RCB will look to target these two right from the start. Kohli might open the bowling with Stuart Binny and Shane Watson. The latter is the best they have their bowling attack and is likely to remove Parthiv Patel who hasn't looked convincing enough.

But aside from Watson and Chahal, no other bowler has really stood out for Bangalore which is a major cause of concern. Mumbai will be aware of this and if their top order plays sensibly against them, then it will get easier for them to accelerate against the likes of Jordan, Aaron and Binny towards the end. If MI don't collapse and keep wickets in hand, then Buttler and Pollard should take them past 170.

Our Prediction

The biggest let down for Royal Challengers Bangalore has been their bowling. Because of this, they have lost many games in the past despite brilliant performances with the bat. Mumbai will certainly take advantage of this weakness and should have a good chance of winning if they bowl well to the RCB batsmen. But Bangalore will have the advantage of playing at their home ground, in conditions they have become familiar with. Also with two consecutive victories, they have the winning momentum on their side as opposed to Mumbai who lost their previous match by a huge margin.

It is true that Mumbai Indians have shown more consistency, but considering the recent performances of the two teams, we feel that Royal Challengers Bangalore have a better chance to win the match tonight.
