Game 2 of the 2022 Pakistan Super League brings Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi together at the National Stadium, Karachi on Friday evening. Quetta Gladiators finished bottom of the PSL last year with only two wins from ten games. Peshawar Zalmi went all the way to the final in 2021 but were beaten by Multan Sultans. Quetta Gladiators will only need to win three games this year to improve on last season’s performance. However, this game may well be one of their toughest.

The Gladiators have recruited a strong squad for PSL 2022 who could surprise observers and we expect to see a big improvement on last season. For this game they will be without England’s James Vince and Jason Roy who are on England duty and Naveen ul-Haq who is playing in the BPL.
