Batsmen

Kasi Vishwanathan Balakrishnan bats up the order, which justifies his ten-credit pricetag. He has not proved his batting worth yet, but he is well placed to make a difference. Parth Bhalodiya has showed good form, however, to suggest there is more to come from him. Farooq Abdullah-Shaik has 85 points to his name and costs just 8.5 credits, while Vijay Karthikeyan is the same price and ticks a box in selecting another Knights player.

All-rounder(s)

The key all-rounders are Satyajit Sengupta and Prasanna Ganesan and the former has 115 points so far. In order to balance the team, however, you may have to limit yourself to just one – particular with Vyshakh Jagannivasan in good form too. Charles Croucher bowled well for the Knights and is the option on their behalf. In an ideal world, you can get all four in though.

Bowlers

Onto the bowling front, Neeraj Tyagi has lived up to his reputation leading the Spartans’ bowling attack and Kranthi Venkataswamy was in excellent bowling form too. He is eight credits, which is superb value. You may still need one Knights player, in which case, Sone Joseph Neerolipadan is just eight credits and good value too.

Captain/vice-captain

Satyajit Sengupta is key at the top of the batting order and has bowled well too. If he ticks in both departments, he will be an excellent captain. Team-mate Kranthi Venkataswamy was the main man in the last match, however. He could be a top vice-captain pick.
