South Africa women are favorites to win
Pakistan women will take on South Africa women in the 2nd ODI on September 11. The match will be played at the National Stadium, Karachi and will start at 4: 00 p.m. IST.
The pitch has nothing for the bowlers. It is a dead flat surface where good lines are the only way to contain the batters. This is easily a 280 plus surface.

Pakistan women did well in the T20I series but ODIs were always going to be a stiffer challenge. The team suffered a crushing 127 runs in the first ODI after they were bowled out for 165 in the chase of 292.
Sidra Ameen, Bismah Maroof and Aliya Riaz will have to bat out of their skin to help Pakistan bounce back in the series. Riaz batted well in the first ODI and scored 49 runs, however, Sidra and Maroof were out cheaply. The two batters though are skilled enough to do well in coming games.
Taking 10 South Africa wickets will be a challenge for Pakistan on flat tracks and all their hopes will rest on Nashra Sandhu and Nida Dar as spinners will be key. Diana Baig had an off day in the first ODI and the team will need early wickets from her.
Pakistan women have struggled in ODI format, with their previous series win coming in 2018-19. Pakistan have hardly troubled big teams in ODIs.
Sidra Ameen, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Bismah Maroof, Nida Dar (c), Muneeba Ali, Aliya Riaz, Sidra Nawaz (wk), Umme Hani, Diana Baig, Nashra Sandhu, Ghulam Fatima
South Africa women were in top form in the first ODI and managed to score 292-4, courtesy of centuries by Sune Luus and Marizanne Kapp. The team looks all set to seek revenge for the T20I series loss.
Laura Wolvaardt, Sune Luus and Marizanne Kapp will once again hold the key for South Africa. Wolvaardt is one of the best batters South Africa have while Sune Luus and Marizanne Kapp scored brilliant 107 and 100 respectively in the previous game.
South Africa's bowling will rest on Marizanne Kapp and Ayabonga Khaka – the two strike bowlers for the team. Nonkululeko Mlaba will be a challenge too as hitting against spinners will not be easy for Pakistan women on a big ground. The same was the case in the first game and Mlaba managed to pick three wickets.
South Africa women were fantastic in the first game and they will look to seal the series in the second game itself.
Laura Wolvaardt (c), Tazmin Brits, Lara Goodall, Sune Luus, Marizanne Kapp, Nadine de Klerk, Delmi Tucker, Sinalo Jafta (wk), Ayabonga Khaka, Masabata Klaas, Nonkululeko Mlaba
South Africa women will start as favourites in the second ODI. They comprehensively beat Pakistan women in the first game and will look to do the same in the following match. They have a better team than the hosts thus South Africa women are favourites for us.
