Pakistan vs Bangladesh 1st Test Match Prediction
Pakistan host Bangladesh in the first of two tests between the two teams in this series, albeit there will be two months between the fixtures. The first test – which is also part of the ICC World Test Championship – takes place between February 7 and February at 11 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan won their last test series, at home, to Sri Lanka – drawing a rain-ruined first match at Rawalpindi before victory at Karachi, their first in the ICC World Test Championship. They are one of four teams with one test win to their name in the inaugural competition and sit fourth with 80 points so far.
Bangladesh, meanwhile, are bottom with zero points having lost both matches to India in their only series in the format. Fresh from hitting a national-record 334* in the Bangladesh Cricket League at the start of the month, however, Tamim Iqbal is back for the Tigers.

Pakistan Team News & Playing 11
PAK Team News
Bilal Asif has been added to the Pakistan squad and could be a key weapon against the abundance of Bangladeshi left-handers. After making his test debut so successfully against Sri Lanka, Abid Ali is retained but fellow debutant from that series Usman Shinwari misses out. The pace attack could well be the same as the second test against Sri Lanka, therefore: Mohammad Abbas and teenagers Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah.
PAK Key Players
Abid Ali: Enjoyed a fine start to his test career against Sri Lanka, when he hit 109* in his first innings and followed that up with 174 in the second innings of the second test.
Babar Azam: Scored an unbeaten century in both tests against Sri Lanka, to follow up his 104 and 97 in the tests against Australia too.
Mohammad Abbas: At 29, he is the senior figure in the pace department compared to his teenage team-mates but his record of 72 wickets in 17 test matches shows why he is such a key part of this attack.
PAK Team Form
Pakistan lost 2-0 to Australia in their first test series in the ICC World Test Championship but bounced back by beating Sri Lanka last time out. Rain ruined the first test, but Pakistan were in fine batting form in the second innings of the second to pull off a stunning win. They trailed by 80 at the halfway point, after being bowled out for 191, though Shaheen Afridi’s five wickets and Mohammad Abbas’ four kept them in contention. Shan Masood (135), Abid Ali (174), Azhar Ali (118) and Babar Azam (100*) combined to take the game away from Sri Lanka, however as Pakistan posted 555/3 declared. Teenager Naseem Shah then took 5-31 as Pakistan won by 263 runs.

Taijul Islam: The left-arm spinner has taken 106 test-match wickets for Bangladesh and proved his bowling form with a five-wicket haul in Dhaka in the same aforementioned domestic game.
