Their very strong run of form has seen the Falcons move up to second in the North Group and they come into this game only one point behind leaders Lancashire Lightning. The win over the Steelbacks saw the Falcons overtake them in the table and was based on a fine batting effort. Skipper Shan Masood hit another half-century but it was Wayne Madsen who starred with 73 runs from 37 balls.
