Northamptonshire vs Warwickshire Prediction

Openers Sam Hain and Ian Bell have done well in the past few matches for the Bears who will be backing them for another solid start on Tuesday. Skipper Bell has scored 265 runs so far in the tournament and he is most likely to top-score against the Steelbacks. Porterfield and Wade will make for a strong middle-order.

Rikki Clarke and Oliver Hannon-Dalby will start the proceedings for Warwickshire with the new ball. Both the seamers have taken 9 wickets apiece so far and they will be backed to pick up some early wickets. A decent performance will also be expected from off-spinner Jeetan Patel, but Clarke and Hannon-Dalby will have to do most of the wicket-taking work.

Our Prediction

The two teams have played five games in the past in the Natwest T20 Blast tournament, and Northamptonshire Steelbacks have been the victors on three occasions. Only one match has been played between them at Northampton in 2014 which was also won by the Steelbacks. They beat Birmingham Bears in the reverse fixture on July 1 and will go into this match high on confidence.

Although Birmingham Bears with a balanced batting and bowling are by no means a weaker team than Northamptonshire Steelbacks, we predict the latter to win this match at their home ground.
