  Zeeshan Mehmood is the wicket-keeper-batsman for Punjab Lions and, as long as he returns to the team for this tournament, he has runs under his belt already this season.

• Batsmen

  There are plenty of choices when it comes to the batsmen, mostly because several should be listed as all-rounders. Tejwinder Singh, Gurpartrap Singh and Neeraj Tiwari are all in that category. All three can bowl, all three are still key batsmen – particularly the latter two, who open together – and all thee are good value too, particularly Gurpartrap and Tiwari at nine and 8.5 credits respectively. For Nicosia, Roman Mazumder is only 9.5 credits but he was a key batsman last season and recaptured his form last time out. Shabbi Ul Hassan is 8.5 credits, meanwhile, and he is another who can bowl too.

• All-rounder(s)

  Of those actually listed as all-rounders, there are still two picks too. Kulwinder Singh is the obvious one at 8.5 credits, while Anowar Hossain and Iftekar Jaman are both options for Nicosia. Both cost 9.5 credits but either is affordable because of the value elsewhere.
