The hosts come into this final WODI of the series facing the possibility of a 3-0 whitewash defeat. New Zealand Women lost the second game of the series in Hamilton by 56 runs with the majority of the batters unable to back up a strong bowling performance.
So far in the series, New Zealand Women have been dismissed for 207 and 196 with only Suzie Bates at the top of the order and all-rounder Brooke Halliday the only pair to make half-centuries. Skipper Amelia Kerr has disappointed with the bat so far and will be keen to contribute in this game.
Although the series was lost on Thursday, the New Zealand Women’s bowling attack impressed with economy rates ranging from 3.50 to 6.25 and all six bowlers used picking up at least one wicket. Captain Kerr has been the most consistent ahead of this final WODI.
New Zealand Women last won a WODI in December last year, against Pakistan Women, three games ago.

It was no surprise to see England Women unchanged ahead of the second WODI and with the chance to seal a famous 3-0 series win, we expect captain Heather Knight to announce the same XI ahead of this game at the toss in Hamilton on Sunday morning.
Keeper-batter Amy Jones has been England Women’s most consistent batter in this series so far with scores of 48 and 92 not out from number seven. Ahead of this game, opener Tammy Beaumont and captain Knight will both be feeling good after strong knocks in the second WODI.
Young all-rounder Alice Capsey was the only bowler for England Women to go wicketless in the last game with the experienced Nat Sciver-Brunt taking 3/21 to take her tally for the series to four wickets. Sophie Ecclestone continue to be one of the world’s most accurate spin bowlers.
England Women have won their last three WODIs by 56 runs, 4 wickets and 161 runs.
Tammy Beaumont, Maia Bouchier, Heather Knight (c), Nat Sciver-Brunt, Alice Capsey, Amy Jones (wk), Danni Wyatt, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Bell, Charlie Dean, Kate Cross
England Women have been too strong for New Zealand Women throughout this series so far and across almost the entirety of this white ball tour. Nearly parts of England Women’s WODI side are playing well and we are backing them to win again and to take the series 3-0.
