Toss Prediction
The Hazelaarweg has hosted 12 international matches (10 ODIs and 2 T20Is) since its inauguration of which eight have been won by the side that has bowled first. Moreover, the wicket here is not expected to change much after the first period of play and so the team that wins the toss in this match is more likely to field first.

Netherlands Team News & Playing 11
Team News
Netherlands currently have a 10-man team for the Ireland matches and are yet to finalise their squad as Timm van der Gugten, Ryan ten Doeschate, Roelof van der Merwe and Paul van Meekeren are all away to play for their respective counties and hence their availability for this tournament is not confirmed. However, we expect one of Ryan ten Doeschate or Roelof van der Merwe to be available for this game. Pieter Seelaar will be leading the squad which includes three uncapped bowlers - Shane Snater, Saqib Zulfiqar and Fred Klaasen.
Key Players
Netherlands will look to the likes of Wesley Barresi, Ryan ten Doeschate and Ben Cooper to score the big runs in this match. Barresi has scored the most runs for his side in the shortest format - 662 runs in 35 matches including three half-centuries. Cooper and ten Doeschate are capable of playing the big shots and Ireland will want to get rid of them as early as possible. Pieter Seelaar is going to pose the biggest challenge to the Irish batsmen. The new skipper is one of the more experienced campaigners in the side having played 39 matches and with 26 wickets to his name. Seam bowlers Fred Klaassen and Shane Snater are the others who can trouble the opposition here.
Recent Form
Netherlands have won three and lost four out of the seven T20 internationals they have played since 2016. Their most recent T20 assignment came last year at the Desert T20 Challenge in the UAE. While they beat Oman by five wickets in their first match, they ended up losing their next two games to Scotland and Hong Kong respectively.
Netherlands Predicted Playing 11
Pieter Seelaar (c), Wesley Barresi (wk), Ryan ten Doeschate/Roelof van der Merwe, Ben Cooper, Scott Edwards, Fred Klaassen, Bas de Leede, Shane Snater, Tobias Visee, Saqib Zulfiqar, Sikander Zulfiqar
Ireland Team News & Playing 11
Team News
Ireland have appointed Gary Wilson as their new T20I skipper as William Porterfield has stepped down from captaincy in the shortest format of the game. The 14-man squad comprises several players including Kevin O’Brien who were part of the nation's maiden test match against Pakistan. The selectors have recalled Andrew Balbirnie, James Shannon and Stuart Poynter while leaving out Greg Thompson, Andy McBrine, Lorkan Tucker and Jacob Mulder who were all part of the squad for the T20Is against Afghanistan last year in India.
Key Players
William Porterfield, Paul Stirling, Gary Wilson and Kevin O'Brien are the big names in Ireland's batting line-up. Porterfield is the leading run-getter for the side in T20 cricket and Stirling and Wilson are not too far behind. O'Brien with his hard-hitting skills is a dangerous batsman in this form of the game and he will also be handy with his medium pace when it comes to bowling. George Dockrell has taken 52 wickets in 46 matches and his left-arm spin could be effective on this wicket. Boyd Rankin has also been amongst the wickets and he too will be a big threat in this pace attack.
Recent Form
Ireland seem to be struggling in the 20-overs format having lost five of their past seven matches played last year. They made it to the final of the Desert T20 Challenge tournament, beating Scotland by 98 runs in the semi-final but could not overcome Afghanistan in the final. They played their last T20I series against the same opposition in India; a three-match series which they lost 0-3.
Ireland Predicted Playing 11
Paul Stirling, Stuart Thompson, William Porterfield, Kevin O'Brien, Gary Wilson (c/wk), Andrew Balbirnie, Stuart Poynter, George Dockrell, Barry McCarthy, Boyd Rankin, Craig Young
