- Max O’Dowd - No longer top of the worldwide ODI batting averages but still standing proud with 78.33 from four ODIs. His task is to get the innings off to a fast start.
- Vivian Kingma - Netherland’s standout bowler in both games against Scotland. He recorded figures of 3-21 in the first ODI, his best in international cricket.
- Timm van der Gugten - the fast-medium bowler comes into this series with plenty of bowling in the County Championship under his belt. He has taken 13 wickets for Kent so far this season.

- William Porterfield - The experienced Porterfield returns to the side and brings with him eleven ODI centuries since his debut in 2006. He hit 73 for North-West Warriors in the game before his recall.
- Mark Adair - The bowling all-rounder is still relatively inexperienced in international cricket but is another member of the Ireland squad who has plenty of cricket under his belt this year already.
