Toss Prediction
There has not been a T20 international played at the Kinrara Academy Oval till date. However, the venue has hosted eight one-day internationals in the past of which six have been won by the side batting first. And also since the wicket is expected to be batsman-friendly, the team that wins the toss in this match will probably elect to bat first.

MAL Women Team News & Playing 11
Team News
Malaysia Women cricket team have announced a 15-member squad for the Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup 2018. Winifred Anne Duraisingam is set to lead the side that also includes batters Yusrina Yaakop, Christina Baret and Mas Elysa along with bowling options in Nur Nadhirah, Ainna Hamizah Hashim and Wan Julia.
Key Players
Malaysia Women will be counting on the likes of Christina Baret, Mas Elysa and skipper Winifred Anne Duraisingam to come good with the bat on Sunday. The trio has performed pretty consistently for the side in the recent past and the team would be hoping that at least one of them plays a big knock here. Baret seems to be the more in-form batter who scored an unbeaten 44 against Hong Kong Women in the recent ASEAN Women's T20 Open Tournament at Bangkok. Nur Nadihirah will be the main threat in Malaysia's bowling attack. The off-spinner has taken six wickets in the last four games and she will be backed by her skipper for a good performance in this match. Pace bowling will depend largely on Ainna Hamizah Hashim who was very economical in the previous tournament.
Recent Form
Malaysia Women have been struggling big time in the 20-overs format. The hosts have not been able to register a single win in their last seven matches with a tie against Hong Kong Women being their best result. They were last seen in T20 action in the ASEAN Women's T20 Open Tournament held earlier this year at Bangkok where they finished at the bottom of the standings after failing to secure a single win from four matches. Malaysia Women last won a T20 game last year in November when they beat China Women by seven wickets in the ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifying Series.

IND Women Team News & Playing 11
Team News
The Indian Women cricket team have announced a 15-member squad for the Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup 2018. The spin pair of Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Ekta Bisht, both of whom did not feature in India's most recent T20 assignment, have been included in the squad. Veteran bowling all-rounder Rumeli Dhar who last played for India against Australia in the recent home T20 international tri-series has been dropped. Also missing out is Radha Yadav, the young left-arm spinner who replaced Bisht and Gayakwad in the last T20I series.
Key Players
India's batting will rely mainly on the likes of Mithali Raj, Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur. They are the top three run-getters for the team in T20 internationals and are ranked 6th, 7th and 8th respectively in the ICC Women's T20 Batting rankings. Mandhana has the best strike-rate of the three in this format and she was also the second-highest run-scorer (208 runs including three fifties from four matches) in the recent home tri-series involving England and Australia. Jhulan Goswami will be the main threat in this Indian pace attack while Poonam Yadav and Deepti Sharma will be the skipper's go-to bowlers when it comes to spin. Goswami is the leading wicket-taker in T20Is for India and she could provide the early breakthroughs with the new ball. Yadav is fifth in the ICC Women's T20 Bowling rankings and she too is likely to trouble the Malaysian batters with her leg-breaks.
Recent Form
India Women have won four and lost as many out of the eight completed T20 internationals they have played so far this year. The tri-nation T20 series (featuring Australia and England) played at home in March was their most recent assignment in the shortest format of the game. They could not make it to the finals and managed to win just one of their four matches. However, prior to the tri-series, India had outperformed South Africa on the latter's home soil to win the five-match series 3-1.
IND Women Predicted Playing 11
Mithali Raj, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Deepti Sharma, Anuja Patil, Pooja Vastrakar, Taniya Bhatia (wk), Rajeshwari Gayakwad/Ekta Bisht, Jhulan Goswami, Poonam Yadav
