Malaysia were let down by their batsmen in the first match and they will be hoping for the likes of Syed Aziz, Virandeep Singh and Ariff Jamaludeen to come good with the bat on Tuesday. Jamaludeen was the top-scorer for the team last time with a knock of 33 and it will be up to him to anchor the innings in case Malaysia lose a few early wickets. Virandeep chipped in with a decent contribution of 26 and he is the key man at the top of the order.
In terms of bowling, Malaysia will look to Pavandeep Singh, Nazril Rahman and Fitri Sham to take wickets and peg back Vanuatu early in their innings. Rahman and Pavandeep notched up a couple each on Sunday and they will be expected to bowl well again. Pavandeep is likely to bowl in the powerplay and the left-arm spinner will look to strike early.

Vanuatu's batting will depend primarily on their opening pair of Joshua Rasu and Andrew Mansale along with Nalin Nipiko and Clement Tommy in the middle order. Joshua cracked 74 off 54 balls in the first T20I and he will look to follow that up with another stellar performance. Mansale, who scored 23, will be expected to convert his start into something big.
Nalin Nipiko is another key figure in this line-up. He was the stand out performer with the ball last time having claimed a four-wicket haul and that too at a very healthy economy of 5.25. The all-rounder also has the potential to make a significant contribution with the bat. Apart from Nipiko, Vanuatu will also bank on Patrick Matautaava and Jelany Chilia to do the job with the ball. Matautaava will be leading the team's bowling attack and he will look to take wickets upfront.
