Dominic Hendricks hit 93 in the win against Titans last time out and has now scored 116*, 107, 13* and 93 in his four Momentum One Day Cup innings so far. The 28-year-old only had one List A century to his name before this month but is now one of the competition’s most in-form batsmen.
Kagiso Rapulana and Wihan Lubbe also hit half-centuries in the win against Titans to prove there is strength in this Lions batting line-up even without their international stars. Temba Bavuma also offers plenty of experience and has a century to his name in this season’s tournament.
They have strength in depth with the ball too. Bjorn Fortuin has eight wickets from six innings, while Nandre Burger has taken seven. Wiaan Mulder’s availability is a big boost, meanwhile. He has taken seven in four games, including two in the win against Titans.

Lions win against Titans was just their second so far, though they have had three matches rained off. After a no result against the Knights, they returned to action to hit 304/8 – led by in-form Dominic Hendricks’ 93 from 110 balls – against the league leaders.
In reply, Wiaan Mulder’s 2-46 proved vital as they restricted Titans to 297/8 to claim a seven-run win.
Hendricks had previously hit back-to-back centuries in vain for the Lions – his big innings not enough in a seven-run D/L method defeat to Warriors and a three-run loss to Cape Cobras.
