Nottinghamshire Outlaws are favorites to win
Unbeaten North Group table toppers Nottinghamshire Outlaws will look to maintain their winning streak and end Leicestershire Foxes’ slim hopes of a quarter-final place in the process. The two teams meet at Grace Road, Leicester, on September 18 and the live action gets underway at 17:00 local time.
Ben Duckett hit 57* from 31 balls to claim the man of the match award as Notts made very light work of chasing 143 to beat Derbyshire Falcons by eight wickets in just 14.1 overs last time out. That was their sixth consecutive win and keeps them clear at the top of the North Group table.
Leicestershire Foxes have won just twice by contrast and suffered defeat to Derbyshire Falcons last time they played despite being set a modest 148 to win after Gavin Griffiths’ 4-35. They need to win their final two games to stand any chance of reaching the quarter-finals.
