The Gladiators posted 174-6 with the bat against Colombo Stars in the first innings of the match and never looked like losing the game from there. The top three were the key with Thanuka Dabare (36), captain Kusal Mendis (39) and Lahiru Udana (45 not-out) will again be the main source of runs in this game.

With 174 runs on the board, the Galle Gladiators enjoyed their first outing on the Kandy pitch on Sunday. They picked up seven wickets and never looked like losing the game in spite of conceding 149 runs. Wahab Riaz continued his strong form picking up his second two wicket haul of the competition.
