Islamabad United were unchanged last time out, after winning their opening game, but Phil Salt's lack of runs and Waqas Maqsood's expensive bowling could mean changes this time out. Ian Bell, Wayne Parnell, Amad Butt and Rumman Raees are among the other options in the Islamabad squad.

Last year's top run scorer, Luke Ronchi, was the stand-out performer for Islamabad last time out, hitting 51 from 33 balls to complement his 27 from 17 balls against Lahore Qalandars in the opening game.
With Ronchi in top form, Islamabad will hope the likes of Cameron Delport - who scored 24 and took 1-12 in the opening game - can start to back him up more regularly. Hussain Talat is another looking for middle-order runs, after scores of 40 and 55 in the first two T20Is against South Africa at the start of the month.
All-rounder Faheem Ashraf took 18 wickets last season and has returned figures of 2-24 and 0-12 so far. He also hit 23 from 11 balls as Islamabad won the opening game and 20 from 14 last time out.
Shadab Khan, another member of Pakistan's squad for the recent series with South Africa, has taken three wickets in the first two games, meanwhile, including 2-20 last time out.

Islamabad United won their first game thanks to Faheem Ashraf's all-round form. He took 2-24 as Lahore Qalandars posted 171/8 in the opening match and then hit an unbeaten 23 from 11 balls to help Islamabad to a five-wicket win.
Despite Luke Ronchi's half-century, however, they only posted 125/7 against Multan Sultans last time out. The Sultans won by five wickets with eight balls to spare.

Having already lost 15-year-old sensation Naseem Shah to injury, and with Harry Gurney not yet having arrived after reaching the Big Bash League final with Melbourne Renegades, Quetta Gladiators suffered another blow when Sunil Narine was ruled out of the start of the tournament with a finger injury. In his absence, Quetta could be unchanged from their opening game win.

Umar Akmal top-scored in Quetta Gladiators' opening-day win, continuing his recent good batting form with an unbeaten 75 from 50 balls. Last time he was in the UAE, it was to play a starring role in the T10 League.
Rilee Rossouw only scored 19 from 14 balls last time out, but he arrived in fine form too after scoring 558 runs in the Bangladesh Premier League. The top scorer in the competition, the South African hit five half-centuries and an unbeaten 100.
Shane Watson was a Big Bash League centurion this season, meanwhile, while Quetta and Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed's batting ability was highlighted by the support role he played in a useful 62-run partnership with Akmal last time out.
With the ball, Mohammad Nawaz - who picked up seven wickets in five BPL matches - led the way with a tidy 2-25 last time out. Of the pacemen, Sohail Tanvir has 311 wickets in 309 T20 appearances.

After losing to Peshawar Zalmi in last season's eliminator, Quetta hit back by winning their first match of this season's tournament, against the same team. Mohammad Nawaz took 2-25 as Peshawar Zalmi posted 155/4, before Umar Akmal led the chase - he hit an unbeaten 75 from 50 balls as the Gladiators won by six wickets with two balls to spare.

Islamabad United just edge the head-to-head with Quetta Gladiators, with four wins to their three in the previous seven games between them. Last season they each won one apiece - Kevin Pietersen top scoring as the Gladiators won the first game by six wickets, chasing 135 to win, before JP Duminy's half-century and some late hitting from Hussain Talat and Asif Ali led Islamabad to a six-wicket win chasing 148 in the second fixture.
