India thrashed West Indies in the third test by 237 runs and have taken an unsurpassable 2-0 lead in the four-match series with one more game to play. Though there were a few good individual performances from the West Indian team and despite the rain consuming one full day's play, the hosts could not save the match. The fourth and the final test will be played at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad from August 18 and live action will begin at 10 AM local time.

Venue and Toss
Queen's Park Oval generally sports a nice batting track and quite often witnesses high-scoring matches. There have been three first-innings scores above 300 in the last five tests here which includes England's 546 back in 2009.
The team that has batted second has won four of the last seven tests played at this venue. Only once has a team batting first registered a win since the last seven matches. The remaining two games ended in a draw. So the toss-winning team might prefer batting second here.
West Indies will need to win the toss and ensure India do not go past 350 if they are to stay in the game. Otherwise, a 3-0 wipeout should be around the corner.

Predicted Score: 250-300
Their top-order batting is going to depend on Kraigg Brathwaite, Darren Bravo and Marlon Samuels. Brathwaite and Bravo both hit centuries at this ground in their last test against New Zealand in 2014. The two have also scored fifties in the third test and are thus, joint favorites to score the most runs for the West Indies in the fourth test. A few decent contributions in the middle-order can power the hosts to around 300.
India's bowlers have been absolutely spot on in this test series with Ashwin and Shami being the pick of the lot. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami have both troubled the batsmen with swing and Kohli will expect them to give the Windies some early blows. Ravichandran Ashwin is the leading wicket-taker and he is most likely to finish as the top-bowler of the series. The West Indian middle order will need to show some resistance, otherwise India are going to wrap them up for another mediocre total.

Predicted Score: 400-450
The top five batsmen in the series all belong to India which just shows how much strong they have been with the bat. Dhawan has fired only once in the four innings and once again, it will be up to Rahul, Kohli and Rahane at the top to ensure a healthy total in the first innings. Though Ashwin is the only batsmen in the side to score two centuries in the series, it is Virat Kohli who is more likely to top-score for India in the upcoming test.
The Indian batsmen will look to be watchful against Miguel Cummins and Roston Chase, the two most successful bowlers for the West Indies. Cummins took three and six wickets in each innings of the last match and seems the most threatening among the fast bowlers. Chase bagged a five-for in the second test and the hosts will need the off-spinner to do well here again. India are a strong batting unit and West Indies will have to come up with something special in order to keep the score under 350.

West Indies have not won a single match in the last ten tests on their turf against India. The visitors have four wins with the rest all ending in a draw.
The two teams have been in action 12 times in tests at the Queen's Park Oval with both winning three games each. The remaining six games were drawn.
Our Prediction
India have been completely dominating in this test series and have outclassed the West Indies in each and every department of the game. The hosts have only managed to put up decent performances in parts but they haven't been able to maintain that throughout the course of the match. With a little more spirited effort from the bowlers and if the batsmen are able to hang in there just like they did in the second test, and also a little help from the rain, West Indies should be able to draw this match.
But Kohli's men seem too hot for the hosts to handle, and so we're backing them to win the fourth test and take the series 3-0.
