India inflicted a massive 224-run defeat on the West Indies in the fourth one-day international at Mumbai to take an unsurpassable 2-1 lead in the series. Virat Kohli is at the pinnacle of ODI batting rankings followed by Rohit Sharma at the second spot and these two batsmen can cause problems for the Windies in this final ODI. The Indian skipper hit a century in each of the first three matches while Rohit cracked 162 off 137 balls in the last game. Ambati Rayudu is coming off two big scores in his previous three outings and he seems to have solved India's No. 4 conundrum, at least for now. Kuldeep Yadav has been the pick of the bowlers in this series with eight wickets in three matches and the chinaman is expected to have another good day with the ball. Jasprit Bumrah has leapfrogged Afghanistan's Rashid Khan to become the No. 1 ODI bowler in the world and he will be a constant threat, both with the new ball as well as in the death overs.

India have now won seven, tied two and lost one of their last ten one-day internationals. In the ongoing series, they started off with a thumping eight-wicket win in the opening encounter. The hosts then tied the next game and after being stunned by the Windies in the third ODI, they stormed back with a crushing 224-run vctory in the last game - their biggest ODI win in terms of runs against a full-member opposition.

Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope have been their best batsmen in the series. Both have scored 250 runs each so far including a hundred and a fifty and the team will need strong contributions from these two. Kieran Powell and Marlon Samuels are two other batsmen in this line-up who have the potential to score the big runs. Ashley Nurse has been the most impressive West Indian bowler in the series. The off-spinner has taken five wickets at an acceptable economy of under 6 and he is likely to finish with the best figures here. Kemar Roach claimed a couple of wickets last time, including the big scalp of Virat Kohli, and that should really fire him up.

West Indies have crashed to their sixth defeat in their last eight one-day internationals as they suffered an embarrassing 224-run loss to India in the fourth ODI of the ongoing series. Up until the last game, the Windies were having a very good series with the bat having scored 322, 321 and 283 in the respective first three matches. However, their entire line-up folded for just 153 last time and their bowling too looked out of sorts.
