India and South Africa go head to head in the penultimate game of the IT20 series at the Saurashtra Cricket Association, Rajkot on Friday evening. After losing the first two matches in Delhi and Cuttack, India got their first victory of the series in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday. Read on as we preview this fixture. It was a very satisfying team performance from India on Tuesday which puts them in good stead. The opening batting pair setup the win before Harshal Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal did the major damage with the ball.

Avesh Khan was the most expensive of the India bowlers in Visakhapatnam and went wicketless for the third successive game. We predict that Khan will be replaced by Umran Malik who will make his debut.
After two defeats on the bounce, India were very impressive on Tuesday and a case can certainly be made that they now have momentum in the series.

Keeper-batter Quinton de Kock had been expected to return from a wrist injury and take his place at the top of the order in the third IT20 but the South Africans chose not to risk him. We predict that he will come back into the side for this game but would not be surprised to see Heinrich Klassen retain his place behind the stumps.
After six successive wins in this format, South Africa were unable to make it seven on Tuesday. However, a victory in this game will give them a series win.

After not living up to their status as favourites in the opening two games of the series, India were excellent on Tuesday. They are favourites ahead of this fourth match.
India’s openers put on 97 inside 10 overs on Tuesday whereas South Africa were 4 wickets down at the same stage. There is plenty of self-confidence in the Indian opening pair.
Batting wise for India, we recommend Ishan Kishan, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer. Gaikwad hit his first international half-century in the third IT20 and will be buzzing with confidence ahead of this game.
