India are favorites to win
After being humbled by New Zealand in their first warm-up match, India will look to regain some confidence when they take on Bangladesh in this final warm-up game of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The match will be played on May 28 at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Live telecast is scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM local time.
TV channels: Star Sports 1, Fox Sports, Sky Sports, Ten Cricket, SuperSport, OSN CricHD
Live Streaming: Bet365, Hotstar, Foxtel, Sky Go, Now TV
The wicket at the Sophia Gardens is a belter and generally tends to favor the side batting second. Since the conditions here are expected to get even better for batting after the first period of play, the team that wins the toss in this match will probably prefer to chase.

Vijay Shankar missed the previous warm-up match against New Zealand and is unlikely to feature in this match as well. The all-rounder was struck on the forearm off a Khaleel Ahmed delivery during a practice session on Friday. Though the injury has been reported to be minor, the team management may not play him as a precautionary measure. Kedar Jadav, who has recovered from the shoulder injury he had sustained during the IPL, is expected to take the field on Tuesday.
Except Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja who scored 30 and 54 respectively, the entire Indian batting line-up failed to click against the quality pace bowling of New Zealand. The pitch at Cardiff will be better for batting and the team will look to their top three - Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli - to fire this time around. Kohli and Rohit are the top two ODI batsmen in the world and both will look to score big after their failures in the last game. For Jasprit Bumrah, it was business as usual, as he finished as the pick of the bowlers against New Zealand with figures of 4-2-2-1. The pacer is currently the world's best ODI bowler and he is likely to be the standout for India again. Mohammed Shami is another major threat in this pace attack while it will be a good opportunity for Kuldeep Yadav to find his rhythm back.
India have won 8 and lost 5 out of the 13 one-day internationals they have played so far this year. They have now faced defeats in their last four matches which includes the six-wicket loss to New Zealand in Saturday's warm-up match. They put up a very disappointing show with the bat last time out. They suffered a top-order collapse and were not able to recover after being reduced to 39-4.
Virat Kohli (c), Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Lokesh Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Kedar Jadhav, Vijay Shankar
Bangladesh have no injury concerns going into this match. Tamim Iqbal will be opening the batting and is likely to be partnered with Liton Das. Shakib Al Hasan will probably bat up the order while the team's middle-order batting will comprise Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Mithun. Mustafizur Rahman and Mohammad Saifuddin are likely to lead Bangladesh's pace attack that also has Abu Jayed and Rubel Hossain. Mehidy Hasan, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah and Mosaddek Hossain make up the team's spin contingent.
Bangladesh will rely on their stalwarts in Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah to score runs for them. Tamim has scored the most runs for the team in the 50-over format and the onus will be on him to provide a strong start to the innings. Soumya Sarkar was the team's best batsman in Ireland and he too will be expected to make a sizeable contribution. Shakib is an integral part of this Bangladeshi side. The all-rounder is their most consistent performer with both bat and ball and will be crucial to the team's chances. Mustafizur Rahman will pose the biggest challenge to the Indian batsmen. The fast bowler could hurt India early on if he gets the ball to swing. Mashrafe Mortaza and Mehidy Hasan are two other bowlers in this line-up whom the Indian batsmen will be wary of.
Bangladesh's first warm-up match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against Pakistan had to be called off without a ball bowled due to inclement weather. Prior to that, they had suffered a 0-3 clean sweep at the hands of New Zealand before winning their next four matches on the bounce. All four of those wins came in the recent tri-series in Ireland that also featured the West Indies.
Mashrafe Mortaza (c), Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah, Rubel Hossain, Mohammad Mithun, Sabbir Rahman, Soumya Sarkar, Abu Jayed, Liton Das, Mosaddek Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Mehidy Hasan, Mohammad Saifuddin
India and Bangladesh have played 34 completed one-day internationals against each other with the scoreline reading 29-5 in favor of the former.
India have beaten Bangladesh on the previous four occasions in the game's fifty-over format. The most recent encounter between these two teams came last year in September in the final of the Asia Cup at Dubai where India secured a thrilling three-wicket win.
India and Bangladesh have never played an ODI against each other at the Sophia Gardens.

India, despite facing a heavy defeat against New Zealand, are overwhelming favorites to win this final warm-up match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at 1.25 with Betrally and 1.28 with Betway and Bet365. Bangladesh begin as the bookmakers' underdogs and are being offered at a much higher price of 3.75 on Bet365 and 3.60 on Betway and Betrally.
India will be very disappointed with the result in their previous encounter against New Zealand. However, there is no need for them to press the panic button just yet. Their batsmen faltered against a quality bowling attack and that too when the conditions were most favorable for the seam bowlers. Bangladesh may be coming off impressive performances in Ireland but it won't be easy for them to beat an Indian side that is desperate for a win. We feel Virat Kohli and company will put the disappoint of the defeat behind them and come up with a much better performance.
