Hong Kong and Scotland have both been eliminated from the ICC World Twenty20 2016 following their two consecutive defeats in the tournament. Both teams have been beaten by Zimbabwe and Afghanistan in their respective matches. The two Group B teams will now play each other in what will be a dead rubber on the 12th of March. This will be the 10th match of the tournament at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur with live action scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM local time. Though the match will not have any impact on the two other teams in the group, it will be important for Hong Kong and Scotland as either team would like to leave the tournament with a win.

They became the first team to crash out of the World T20 2016 after their loss to Zimbabwe on Thursday. They have talented players in their side but the team has not clicked collectively as a unit in this tournament. Kyle Coetzer, however, will be among the key players for Scotland. With 687 runs in 32 innings, the right-handed opening batsman is currently the team's highest run-scorer in T20 internationals. He recently made 40 runs off 27 balls against Afghanistan and has earned high betting odds in his favor for the forthcoming match. Matthew Cross is another batsman who has been impressing the selectors since his debut in 2013. The wicket-keeper batsman has scored 282 runs in 16 T20Is with a healthy strike rate of 139.60. Among the bowlers, Mark Watt, Josh Davey and Alasdair Evans have all bowled well in the two games against Afghanistan and Zimbabwe.

They too will have to make an early exit from the ICC World Twenty20 2016 after losing to Afghanistan by six wickets on Thursday. The team will look to regroup and ensure they bow out of the tournament with a consolation win. One of the players to watch out for will be Ryan Campbell. The Hong Kong batsman came into spotlight in 2014 after his incredible knock of unbeaten 303 off 107 deliveries for Kowloon Cricket Club. Though he has yet to deliver in this year's World T20, his past performances make him a good option for betting on. Babar Hayat has the best strike-rate of all the batsmen in T20Is. His recent best performance came against Oman in the Asia Cup last month where he struck 122 off 60 balls including seven sixes. Hong Kong will expect their strike bowler Tanwir Afzal to pick up early wickets against Scotland. The fast bowler took 2 wickets against Zimbabwe and has also been economical in the tournament.

Hong Kong have not played as much T20 internationals as Scotland. They have only featured in 14 T20Is with 8 wins as compared to Scotland's 14 wins in 37 T20Is (with 3 games yielding no result). Both teams have met each other in three international games with Scotland leading 2-1. This is just the second appearance for Hong Kong in this year's World T20 while Scotland have played in all the editions and had even managed to qualify back in 2007 and 2009. Scotland, therefore, will have an upper hand when they take on Hong Kong in the final match of Group B.
