The Knight Riders posted 114-7 with the Royals coming up just one run short for seven wickets down from their 20 overs. 35 year old opener Lee-Ann Kirby top scored for Trinbago, hitting 30 runs from 30 balls with captain Deandra Dottin and overseas player Hayley Jensen both chipping in with 20 runs each. Defending the total was a real team effort with six of the seven bowlers used by Dottin picking up wickets. Sune Luus was the only player not to take a wicket with Lee-Ann Kirby taking 2-32.
