Dambulla Aura

Although it has been a season to forget for Dambulla Aura with only one win from their seven matches, a victory in this game - over the only team who they have beaten so far - could see them sneak into fourth place and take a place in the semi-finals.

DA Batting

Chasing 161 to beat top of the table Kandy Falcons on Sunday, Aura finished 39 runs short on 121-9. Sikandar Raza was pushed up the order to number three and should keep that place after hitting 45 runs from 33 balls. Opener Jordan Cox and Bhanuka Rajapaksa will both be looking to make big contributions after recording ducks against the Falcons.

DA Bowling

Matthew Forde (2-16), Noor Ahmed (0-24) and Sikandar Raza (1-26) all impressed with the ball against Kandy Falcons. Left arm pace bowler Kalana Perera came in for his first appearance of the season and took 2-27. As a left-arm pacer, he could well be the bowler to watch for Dambulla Aura.

Dambulla Aura were unable to make it two wins in a row in Sunday’s defeat.
