Dubai Capitals were in the full flow with bat and ball in the tournament's inaugural match and won the game easily. We expect them to field the same team as there are no injury concerns in their squad. Dubai Capitals are currently placed at the top of the points table.

DUB Batting

The Dubai batters were slow to start but accelerated in the last overs of powerplay. Joe Root was aggressive but Robin Utthapa took some time to tee off. After the start they got, their middle order batters played freely with captain Rovman Powell scoring 48 of just 29 balls with 3 hits across the boundary. Sikandar Raza chipped in with a useful cameo of 26 of 17 balls. We expect openers to be more aggressive in the powerplay and Joe root to do most of the scoring in this match.

DUB Bowling

The bowlers were on the roll in the match against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and didn't let the opposition batsman score freely. Akif Raja, Mujeeb ur Rahman, and Rovman Powell all took 2 wickets each. Isuru Udana was economical and gave runs only at the economy of 3.50.  Mujeeb Ur Rahman is a bowler who plays across the league and we expect him to deliver in this match again.

DUB Form

Though this is just the starting phase of the tournament, we can see that Dubai has a strong batting lineup. They already have won the first match and will look to strengthen their positions at the points table. 

Gulf Giants

Gulf Giants had a great start to the 1st season of the ILT20 league. They were clinical in their win against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and would love to continue that form going into this match. We expect no changes in the teams' winning combination and expect them to dominate the match.

GUL Batting

Gulf Giants' batting was not tested in their first match as they restricted their opponents to below-par 114/9. England international James Vince scored a well-made 65 in the chase with 4 sixes and as many fours at the start of the innings. They have many international stars in their line up but we are expecting a good knock from the West Indies' swashbuckling middle-order batsman Shimron Hetmyer.

GUL Bowling

The bowling of the team was right on the money when they reduced the opposition to 25 for the loss of 3 wickets. Sanchit Sharma was the pick of the lot who bowled a fine new ball spell taking out 3 top-order batsmen. He bowled 3 overs at the start and took 3 for 9. England international Chris Jordan who is renowned for his death bowling also chipped in with 3 wickets. The team is equipped with the best bowling attack in the tournament and we expect them to deliver again with the bowl.

GUL Form

The Gulf Giants have played only one match but looked good in every aspect of the game. They are looking to be a formidable side to beat this season and we expect them to move to the top of the points table.
