Dolphins have Andile Phehlukwayo available again and the South African all-rounder was in the squad for the rained-off game with Warriors. Lwandisa Zuma could be the man to miss out to accommodate him, as was the plan before the rain intervened last time out. Dolphins’ other two World Cup players, Imran Tahir and David Miller, are at the IPL.

Andile Phehlukwayo will be looking for form ahead of the World Cup and took seven wickets across his last two T20 matches for the national team. He took 3-25 and 4-24 for South Africa against Sri Lanka. One of his Momentum One Day Cup appearances for Dolphins was against Titans too, meanwhile, where he showed the other side of his game by hitting 43 with the bat.
Phehlukwayo strengthens both the bowling attack and the middle order, where he will join another all-rounder in Robbie Frylinck. Fit-again Frylinck hammered an unbeaten 47 from 23 balls against Cape Cobras to pick up where he left off at the Bangaldesh Premier League earlier this year. He also has three wickets from two games so far.
In fact, bowling has been Dolphins’ strength with Prenelan Subrayen and Daryn Dupavilon taking nine wickets between them. Subrayen’s economy rate of 5.25 is also impressive.

After their last match, against Warriors, was rained off just after the toss had been completed, Dolphins remain with just one win to their name so far – a four-wicket win against Knights in their first match, after Prenelan Subrayen’s 3-15 restricted the opposition to 133/8.
Their most recent completed game was against Cape Cobras, where they got off to a slow start chasing 153 to win. Some late hitting from Robbie Frylinck and a handy partnership with Khaya Zondo was not quite enough as they finished on 144/5.

Titans have won one of their five matches so far in CSA T20 Challenge 2019, though only three have been completed. In the first of those, they were hard done by as a result of the D/L method – Warriors winning by scoring 60/0 from six overs despite Titans posting 216/5 from their 20 overs led by Theunis de Bruyn’s 38-ball 74.
They initially bounced back with a win, chasing 151 to claim a seven-wicket win against Cape Cobras with Henry Davids top-scoring with 57, but they have not won since. Two rained-off games hampered their progress and they fell 12 runs short of Lions’ 181/4 last time out.
