Shahidul Islam replaced Sohag Gazi last time out in the only change after an unchanged team claimed victories in the previous two games. He was tidy with the ball in the Riders' win against Chittagong Vikings and could therefore retain his place.

Rangpur Riders top four is possibly one of the strongest ever to have come together in a T20 tournament. Chris Gayle opens up - the hero of last season's title win with a stunning century in the final - and he scored 55 in the win against Khulna Titans.

Alex Hales also scored a half-century in that game after 33 from 24 balls the previous week. He surpassed them with a 48-ball 100 in the last game, however - hitting 11 fours and five sixes along the way.

Hales shared a 174-run second-wicket partnership with Rilee Rossouw, who went on to finish unbeaten on exactly 100 from 51 balls. Rossouw now has four half-centuries and one hundred, and 459 runs in total from nine innings at an average of 114.75 and a strike rate of 155.06.

AB de Villiers is the final part of this Fantasy League top-four - he hit 34 from 21 balls and 41 from 25 balls in his first two appearances this year, though he was out cheaply last time out.

A good batting line-up counts for nothing if it is not backed by the bowlers but Rangpur Riders have no such issues there. Mashrafe Mortaza's 3-34 last time out took him to 16 wickets in nine games so far; his economy rate of 6.82 is also impressive.

Shafiul Islam has 13 wickets, meanwhile, and Farhad Reza is on 12 - the latter having claimed 2-29 last time out, to follow up his 4-32 in the previous game.

Rangpur Riders have won their last three matches - the perfect response to the three-game losing streak which preceded it. All three wins have coincided with AB de Villiers' arrival, having made his first appearance against Sylhet Sixers. After falling 27 runs short of the Sixers' 187/5 in their previous game, this time the Riders chased 195 to win by four wickets with three balls to spare. Rilee Rossouw hit 61 from 35 balls and Alex Hales and De Villiers shared useful partnerships with him.

Next up, Chris Gayle (55), Hales (55) and De Villiers (41) helped Rangpur chase 182 to beat Khulna Titans by six wickets - Rossouw sealing the deal with six in the final over.

Hales and Rossouw then both hit centuries in their most recent game - helping Rangpur to a stunning 239/4 from their 20 overs against table-topping Chittagong Vikings. Mashrafe Mortaza took 3-34 in the reply as the Vikings finished well short on 167/8.
