Muhammad Waseem began the tournament with some explosive innings but his form has fallen away a bit in recent matches. The West Indian pair of Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard produced half-centuries in the last game and are likely to be their main source of runs in this clash.

EMI Team Bowling

The left-arm pair of Trent Boult and Samit Patel were the only two wicket takers for MI Emirates in their last completed game, a seven wicket defeat against their opponents in this match, Desert Vipers. Dwayne Bravo will be hoping for a better return in this fixture and may well find the Sharjah surface more responsive.
