Our Pick Delhi Capitals are favourites to win
Delhi Capitals will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second qualifier of the Indian Premier League. The match will be played on the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium and is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM local time
Coming so close and losing - No team would want to feel this bitter feeling but unfortunately, one of DC or SRH have to bid adieu the tournament post the match. Delhi Capitals will be sweating over their opening conundrum. They've tried Prithvi Shaw, they've tried Ajinkya Rahane but none have seemed to work so far. Their vows don’t end here as the rest of the batsmen haven’t done something extraordinary either. Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Ajinkya Rahane, all have been disappointing. Marcus Stonis and Axar Patel definitely batted well against Mumbai but their consistency will always be in question. Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje forms a lethal pace attack but it seems that they've ran out of gas in the last few games. The only ray of hope will be the form of Ravichandran Ashwin, who's been brilliant of late. Delhi will be hoping that Rabada and Nortje can find their mojo back because not batting; it's the bowlers that'll be Delhi’s biggest strength against SRH.
Sunrisers Hyderabad on the other hand has been ruthless in the last few games. They seem to be at the top of their game and will pose a stern challenge for Delhi Capitals. You look at the margin of their victories in the last 4 games, simply outstanding. David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha have been terrific at the top. Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson too have some runs behind them. However, In Priyam Garg, Jason Holder and Abdul Samad, they have a bleak lower middle order which can be a cause of concern if the top order gets out cheaply. Sunrisers Hyderabad banks upon their bowling that’s stood up to the occasion in every game. Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma and T Natarajan have been pivotal in SRH's success in the tournament.
Overall, there is little that can separate the two teams on paper but in performance, Hyderabad are way ahead than Delhi, especially if you consider the last few games. It's very difficult to pick a winner between evenly competitive teams but we would like to go ahead with Delhi Capitals because of their better pace attack which could come in handy if they bowl first.

Toss can't be predicted and captain that wins the toss has a tough choice to make. If there is dew, batting second is the most feasible option, if not, chasing won't be easy.
Weather in Abu Dhabi will be pleasant with temperatures hovering in the comfortable late 20's
The pitch at Abu Dhabi is a slow wicket. Batting here will require some application. The dew will make it easier to chase buy if there is no dew, team batting second can get into trouble.
