DC vs KKR Head to Head
Delhi and Kolkata have met 22 times in the IPL, with the Knight Riders ahead overall with 13 wins. They each won once in this fixture last season, with the winning team hammering big scores in each.
In the first match, Nitish Rana’s half-century and a 12-ball 41 from Andre Russell helped Kolkata post 200/9 from their 20 overs. In reply, Sunil Narine (3-18) and Kuldeep Yadav (3-32) helped bowl Delhi out for just 129.
Their most recent meeting, however, saw Privthi Shaw hit 62 and Shreyas Iyer hammer an unbeaten 93 from 40 balls – including ten sixes – as Delhi posted 219/4. Kolkata never got on top of the chase and eventually finished on 164/9.

Having won two matches from two so far, Kolkata Knight Riders are favourites to beat Delhi Capitals at 1.66 with Betrally, 1.70 with Betway and 1.72 with Bet365. The Capitals could cause an upset on their home pitch, however – they are 2.00, 2.05 and 2.10 to win respectively.
Kolkata have relied on some big hitting from Andre Russell, who is 9.00 to be man of the match for the third consecutive game, but a slow Delhi wicket could mean lower scores than in KKR’s first two matches.

- DC to Win the Match: Betway have also priced Delhi Capitals as outsiders, at 2.05 to win, despite their home advantage and strong top order.
- DC Top Batsman: In that top order, Shikhar Dhawan is 1.83 to score over 22.5 runs, while Rishabh Pant is 1.83 to score over 19.5. Dhawan is 3.60 to be their top batsman, Pant is 4.50 and Shreyas Iyer – who was in great form when Delhi beat Kolkata last year – is 4.00.
- DC Top Bowler: Kagiso Rabada is 2.87 to be their top bowler, while if the bowling attack is tweaked then Sandeep Lamichhane (3.25) and Chris Morris (3.60) both come into contention.
KKR Betway Odds
- KKR to Win the Match: Betway have priced in-form Kolkata Knight Riders at 1.70 to beat Delhi Capitals.
- KKR Top Scorer: Nitish Rana has already hit two half-centuries in the opening two matches and he is 5.50 to top score for the Knight Riders, while Robin Uthappa – top scorer last time out – is 4.00.
- Russell to be KKR Top Batsman: Andre Russell is 7.50, due to his lower position in the batting order, but his form suggests Kolkata are worth backing at 2.00 to score the most sixes, regardless of the final result. Individually, Russell is 5.50 to hit the most sixes in the match.
- KKR Top Bowler: With the ball, wickets have been in short supply and Russell – their top wicket taker in both matches so far with two apiece – is 4.00 to be their top bowler again. A slow wicket is expected, however, which brings in spin trio Kuldeep Yadav (3.25), Sunil Narine (4.33) and Piyush Chawla (5.00).

- DC to Win the Match: Delhi Capitals are outsiders but could be worth backing on their home pitch at 2.10 to win with Bet365.
- DC Top Batsman: The strength of their top order is their greatest asset and Shikhar Dhawan is 4.00 to be their top batsman, while Rishabh Pant – in such explosive form as they won the first game – is 4.33, as is Colin Ingram.
- DC Top Bowler: With the ball, Kagiso Rabada has already started to tick this season and is 4.00 to be the Capitals’ top bowler. Sandeep Lamichhane is pushing for inclusion too and he is 3.75.

- KKR to Win the Match: Kolkata Knight Riders are in good form and 1.72 to win with Bet365.
- KKR Top Batsman: Colin Ingram arrives in fine form after the Pakistan Super League. He is 4.33 to be their top batsman, while another new acquisition, Shikhar Dhawan, is 4.00.
- KKR Top Bowler: With the ball, wickets have been in short supply and Russell – their top wicket taker in both matches so far with two apiece – is 4.00 to be their top bowler again. A slow wicket is expected, however, which brings in spin trio Kuldeep Yadav (3.25), Sunil Narine (4.33) and Piyush Chawla (5.00).

- DC to Win the Match: Delhi Capitals can be backed at 2.00 to beat Kolkata Knight Riders with Betrally.
- DC Top Batsman: Their top order can change that, however, with Shikhar Dhawan 3.85 to be their top batsman and Rishabh Pant 4.15, the same as Colin Ingram. Prithvi Shaw hit a half-century against Kolkata last year and he is 4.35 – as is Shreyas Iyer.
- DC Top Bowler: On the bowling front, Betrally are more generous than Betway with their odds. Kagiso Rabada is 3.85 to be their top bowler, while Sandeep Lamichhane is 3.65 and Chris Morris is 4.45. The latter are pushing for first starts of the season.
KKR Betrally Odds
- KKR to Win the Match: Kolkata Knight Riders are favourites to win with Betrally, and can be backed at 1.66 to beat Delhi.
- KKR Top Batsman: With the bat, in-form Russell is 7.00 to be their top batsman – something he has not achieved yet this season. Instead Nitish Rana (who is 5.45) and Robin Uthappa (3.95) top scored in the first and second games respectively.
- KKR Top Bowler: Andre Russell is 8.75 to be named man of the match for the third consecutive game, while he is 3.80 to again be their top bowler. Kuldeep Yadav is 3.20 to be their top bowler, while Sunil Narine is 4.15.
DC vs KKR Prediction
Delhi Capitals host an in-form Kolkata Knight Riders team but they can upset the odds on home soil having showed some good form themselves this season. A slow wicket could slow KKR’s charge with the bat, while potential returns for Sandeep Lamichhane and Chris Morris strengthens Delhi significantly.
