They narrowly lost their last match, against Colombo Stars, in Match 12 but will be confident of getting a win in their first meeting with Dambulla Aura in this campaign.

GG Batting

In spite of 72 runs from 49 balls from captain Kusal Mendis at the top of the order and 58 runs from 33 balls from Asad Shafiq at number four, Galle Gladiators somehow lost their last game. All of their top four batters are in form and scored over 24 runs at a strike-rate of at least 146 against Colombo Stars.

GG Bowling

The experienced Pakistan left-arm quick, Wahab Riaz, went for an incredible 61 runs from his four overs in the last match and it was his performance which ultimately cost his side the win.
