After losing their opening two matches, Jozi Stars will be hoping to open their account on the points table with a win when they face-off against Cape Town Blitz on November 14. This sixth fixture of the Mzansi Super League 2019 will be played at the Newlands in Cape Town. Live telecast of the match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM local time.
Cape Town Blitz received a bashing at the hands of Paarl Rocks in their previous match at Boland Park. Opting to bat first, the Rocks set a target of 171 to win for the Blitz who eventually folded for just 84 to go down by 86 runs. Jozi Stars, in their last outing, faced a 24-run loss to Nelson Mandela Bay Giants at Port Elizabeth. The Giants were put into bat first and they posted 167 on the board. The Newlands has produced some big totals in recent times in the game's shortest format. So one can expect the pitch to be more batsman-friendly on Thursday. 149 is the average first-innings score here in T20 internationals.

Cape Town Blitz Team News & Playing 11
CTB Team News
Cape Town Blitz will have to make a change in their line-up for this upcoming match against Jozi Stars. England all-rounder Moeen Ali, who had joined the team for the first two matches, will now be unavailable and will be replaced with Pakistan's Wahab Riaz. Wahab's inclusion will further bolster the team's pace bowling department. With the departure of Moeen Ali, the Blitz are likely to promote Liam Livingstone to number three.
CTB Key Players
Janneman Malan: He has scored the most runs for Cape Town Blitz so far in this MSL season - 111 runs in two matches. The opener blitzed an unbeaten 99 off 59 balls in the opening match of the tournament against Jozi Stars. He will be expected to play a similar knock when the two teams clash again on Thursday.
Quinton de Kock: The left-handed South African opening batsman has loads of international experience and has hit four half-centuries in T20Is. de Kock looked in good touch in his innings of 35 in the reverse encounter at Johannesburg.
Dale Steyn: The veteran quick snared three scalps against Jozi Stars in the tournament opener and he could cause problems for them again. Steyn will be leading Cape Town's bowling attack alongside Vernon Philander and the onus will be on him to take early wickets.

Jozi Stars Team News & Playing 11
JS Team News
Jozi Stars made a couple of changes to their side in the last match against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants - they dropped Nono Pongolo and Duanne Olivier to make room for Delano Potgieter and Aaron Phangiso. The latter had a pretty good outing with the ball and is likely to be retained for Thursday's encounter. Despite coming off a defeat, Jozi Stars could go into this game with an unchanged line-up.
JS Key Players
Reeza Hendricks: He seems to be going through splendid form and is going to be the key man for Jozi Stars at the top of the order. The opener cracked 80 in the first match against Cape Town Blitz and 62 last time out against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants.
Chris Gayle: He may be at the cusp of retirement from international cricket, but he is still regarded as one of the most feared batsmen in the world. On his day, the West Indian swashbuckling opener can tear apart any bowling attack and win the game single-handedly.
Kagiso Rabada: His express pace makes him a serious threat with the ball irrespective of the conditions. Rabada was a bit expensive in the first match but he bounced back in the last match and returned impressive figures of 2-27 from four overs.
JS Recent Form
Jozi Stars finished second on the points table last year and went all the way to win the inaugural edition of the Mzansi Super league. They are currently lying at the bottom of the leaderboard and are the only team who are yet to register a win this season. The Stars, after their loss to Cape Town Blitz, were outplayed by Nelson Mandela Bay Giants in their last match at Port Elizabeth.

🏆 Cape Town Blitz vs Jozi Stars Prediction
Both the teams are coming into this match on the back of a defeat in their last match. But it is the Jozi Stars who will be feeling much more pressure as they are yet to get off the mark on the points table after having played two matches. However, having won both their past encounters against the Blitz at this ground will give them a big psychological advantage. But having said that, Cape Town Blitz won the first round against the Stars at Johannesburg and now they will even have the home advantage on their side. Although Jozi Stars do have plenty of match-winners in their line-up, we still feel that Cape Town Blitz are better placed to win here.
